About New Beginnings
In 1997 God began to move in hearts, and raise up people to "birth" a crisis pregnancy
center in Siloam Springs. The motivation was the need for a service to show the love of
Christ to all those involved in difficult situations during pregnancy. New Beginnings
Pregnancy Services officially opened its doors in September of 1998.
In March of 1999 New Beginnings moved from their first location on Mt. Olive to 825 S
Hico St. In May of 2005 the ministry expanded into a second building on 608 S Hico St.
The Thrift Shop is open to the general public-all funds support the ministry-, and the client
boutique, for clients only, are in the 825 S Hico location. The Pregnancy Center moved
into the new location on 608 S Hico St.
New Beginnings provides a variety of services including free self-pregnancy tests,
education information, alternatives to abortion, friendship, lay counseling, adoption,
referrals, parenting classes and Bible studies for the clients. Through an incentive
program, this non-profit organization also serves the community by supplying maternity
and infant clothing, diapers, formula, and has referrals for other items the clients need.
